Oil spill recovery and recycling project

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) is preparing a project to restore an offshore oil spill recovery facility in 2025. This initiative is designed to recycle crude oil spilled in Nigeria's offshore areas. The BYEOLHAS Group submitted a preliminary feasibility study estimate for this project in November 2024. Additionally, a design review for a waste incinerator will be conducted in parallel to handle materials that cannot be recycled.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) is keen to quickly resolve the environmental issues caused by severe crude oil leaks, as complaints from environmental groups and nearby residents continue to increase.

The BYEOLHAS Group has already presented the optimal solution through meetings with relevant companies. A detailed feasibility study will be conducted once NNPC provides final approval.
