Waste Incineration Plant & Bioenergy Facility in Cameroon
To address the long-standing waste management issues in the Cameroonian cities of Yaoundé and Douala, BYEOLHAS Co., Ltd. is preparing projects for biogas and waste incineration facilities.
In October 2024, a proposal for a preliminary feasibility study was submitted to the Cameroonian government, and discussions are currently underway to install these as pilot projects in the two major cities. To support this initiative, BYEOLHAS Co., Ltd. has partnered with Korea's Gunhwa Co., Ltd..
This project will be funded by the Cameroon Environmental Fund. If the pilot projects prove successful, the plan is to expand them to cities nationwide, which would have a significant ripple effect. The project has the following goals and advantages:
