500MW Solar Power Plant in Burkina Faso
A preliminary feasibility study for a 100MW solar power plant project in Burkina Faso has been completed and the report has been submitted to the government.
The government plans to construct a total of 1000MW of solar power plants, divided into two phases of 500MW each. The land granted by the central government is strategically located near the capital, offering excellent transportation access and an abundant source of solar energy. After construction, the plant is expected to become a crucial electricity supplier to the capital.
Continuous negotiations are underway to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the central government.
